Lace Design Technique 06 – Continuation

Sometimes a photo or a picture makes me pause. But I first had to get the idea from OH cards to use them as inspiration to design. Especially in those moments when I am a creative desert myself, I like to use this technique to get going.

Instruction

  1. Choose a picture or photo. Especially abstract images are suitable for this technique.
  2. Put the image on the paper in the place that suits you (It doesn’t have to be in the middle) and start to paint or draw around the image.
  3. If you are ready, remove the picture from your paper and paint or draw in the remaining spot.
  4. As usual use the resulat as inspiration for a design.
  5. If you like, publish your painting using #lacedesignchallenge_2022.

Dieser Blogpost ist Teil der Lace Design Challenge 2022.

Manchmal bringt mich ein Photo oder ein Bild zum Innehalten. Doch ich musste erst durch OH cards auf die Idee gebracht werden, diese als Inspiration zum Entwerfen zu verwenden. Vor allem in den Momenten, in denen ich selbst eine kreative Wüste bin, nutze ich diese Technik gerne, um in Gang zu kommen.

Anleitung

  1. Wähle ein Bild oder Foto aus, das dir gefällt. Besonders abstrakte Bilder sind für diese Technik geeignet.
  2. Lege das Bild auf ein Blatt Papier an irgendeiner Stelle. Es muss nicht die Mitte sein. Beginne um das Bild herum zu zeichnen oder zu malen.
  3. Wenn du fertig bist, nimm das Bild oder Photo von deinem Zeichenblatt, und male oder zeichne in die verbleibende Stelle.
  4. Nutze das Ergebnis als Inspiration für ein Design.
  5. Wenn du magst, veröffentliche dein Bild unter #lacedesignchallenge_2022.
